Am I the only one on the planet who had sympathy for Lilly? I mean, she was in an extremely tough position. She is incredibly akin to Shane of the comics and show. She was the only one who did was everyone knew was necessary to survive. I tried to help revive her dad, and I brought her with me. That was a little back stabbing move she pulled with the RV, but if I saw her again in 400 Days, I would forgive her.

  • I am torn on how I should feel about that post. On one hand I want to tell you that you are an idiot, and Lilly is a -blam!-ing bitch that deserved to me left for dead. And on the other I want to commend your forgiveness. You still have a bit of humanity left in you.

The first thing you'll notice is her incredibly, erm, commanding attitude. She worked at an air force before the outbreak. She worked mainly with bureaucrats and other manly men. Therefore, she is used to dealing with stubborn-like people. I'll get back to this later. There are problems with her. I see her as being a bit selfish. The entire first episode, she only cared for Larry and hardly did anything to help the group except yell and stuff. However, it's hard to not expect that of her. Larry is her only family that she has left. What if it were Clementine laying there, and for all you know, she could pass away at any second? Lilly was just doing to best she could on the whim of a moment. Lilly had tons of stress on her. I don't think I could manage had I been put in her decision. Sure, she makes group decisions mainly based off her dad, but Kenny is making decisions based off his family also, and the group doesn't always follow her commands (be it a good thing or not). To top this off, as stated in episode two, she has the weight of the world on her shoulders. She has no help with making the hard choices such as food rationing, she is constantly worried about the group's defenses, and about the health condition of the only true friend and family she has left. What she did to Carly/Doug/Ben was horrible (it was literally a jaw-dropping moment for me). But I see her as, to put it simply, a person that had extremely high expectations that everyone placed upon her, while she still had immense worries of her own, just like Ben. But despite my defense for her, go with your former intuition. I dropped Ben in the bell tower. I felt so much regret, it wasn't even funny. It seriously made my stomach churn thinking about it. Call me a loser, but I wanted to punch myself. Also, nice coup. XD Also also, sorry this is horribly organized, I just wrote it based on the thoughts at the front of my mind.

  • Thanks. The choice to drop Ben was one of the hardest decisions in the game.
