Interesting thread. Honestly, besides scouring the Internet, I'm not sure what you could try. I guess talking to older-skool Bungie fans or even employees might yield some results.

I've been around here quite a while. I've had my fair share of interactions with the team. None of them seem willing to say anything about it, not that I've actually asked anyone but Urk in a passing question in a game of Halo3 customs. Trouble is; there is ZERO mention of it anyway. All anyone knows about it is that It was pretty good. And that there wasn't many copies made.

Generally, someone's 'fair share of interactions with the team' consists of an Average Joe article or an answer in the Mail Sack. Sounds like you've had more than your fair share. :P
