Yeah, the human dinosaur hybrids was even worse. But this is pretty bad.

if only they were written with chrichton. JP 1 and 2 were good, 3 was ok but not based on a book. it would be ok for JP to go full retard if we got a big budget reboot of carnosaur.

JP2 was pretty bad compared to the original, but was a fun watch and got a lot of dinosaur behavior right. 3 was garbage. LOLCARNOSAUR They reused the same "T.Rex vs. Forklift" thing so many times throughout the (terrible) trilogy...

hey, it was a shoe string budget. carnosaur used stop-motion is how low budget it was. jurassic park actually pulled investors away from carnosaur, even though carnosaur was the older project. nd then producers embeezzelled, and it's not pretty. and there was a 4th that basically remade the 1st. if it actually had a budget, it'd be better.

I've read both books. I understand Carnosaur came out before JP, but it's vastly inferior IMO. The story, at its core, is just not that great. I'm sure with some proper restructuring it could be a great movie, but for now I prefer it to remain in book form.
