I'd call it "Heated Discussion"
I'd get some sort of cloth wrapping and weave it around the hilt, cross guard, and the base of the blade. Would look cool if you ask me.

Should I go with blue or red cloth?

Tough call, the blue would blend well with the cool coloration of the blade, but the warm colors of red would add contrast that may end up looking better. I'd say its your call really.

I second that "heated discussion" sounded perfect and go with a blue cloth with a emblem at the end of it
