Another good one. From the album, Satanic Satanist

THAT was a good song. Thank you for that, very different than the last one too.

Yea, they remind of the Beatles in the sense that none of their albums sounded like the others. If you are a hardcore beatles fan (I'm not, but one of my college roommates was) you can tell which album was made when by the sound and lyrics of the songs. And to not upset the Beatles fanatics in the world, No, I am not comparing them to the Beatles or saying they are better. They are however an amazing band.

Ahah you're talking to a Beatles nerd. And you're absolutely right, they have the feel, but also maintain a uniqueness that is actually really enjoyable. I'm really interested in them though at this point, they are pretty damn stellar.

Yea. It's a good thing I made the distinction then. Lol Until this album, Satanic Satanist was my favorite. I still haven't gotten a full feel for it, but Evil Friends is turning out to be pretty good. By that I mean, I haven't been able to fully understand the intention behind all of the songs. For example, Purple Yellow Red and Blue on this album makes me think of being on drugs, which I'm not a fan of, but I still like the song. This song makes me think of a person rising above a bad relationship, but after listening to a lot of their music, I'm not entirely convinced they write anything with a singular meaning. Reading the lyrics to this song confuses me even more, but the outro is clever.

I would assume it goes along with a lot of artist intentions, wherein they have a meaning, but it's so personalized and specific, it would almost be impossible to really tell what it was they were trying to say unless you were the artest. I really do enjoy the music though, it was a fresh feel, and had a nice tone to it. Very organic, not a lot of mechanic redefinition, I liked it.
