I'm thinking it might be. If CoD: Ghosts is, I'm almost positive BF4 will release at launch. But we don't know much about either yet. :/

Battlefield has a solid fan base but I don't think they want to take on CoD head to head like that. Especially on such a big scale as a launch title.

I'm just saying that releasing after CoD, but still really close to launch, would be a bad idea, as the FPS gamers are gonna want a FPS on the new console, you know? I mean, it'd be smarter to wait a few months after CoD, when those guys are ready for a new game, but I'm just hoping they go on or very near launch.

People who love CoD don't talk about the new one because they are playing the old one still. They come out often enough that they don't have to buy into the hype because they'll know when they know. CoD does not hype their games until a month before release then we get the 1-2 punch to the face.

Eh, I'd disagree. Most of the CoD fans I know would be excited by now. But even they are excited for BF4, Titanfall, etc. and not CoD.

Black Ops 2 is still going hard though. Ghosts will get it's time soon but just not yet.

I have nobody on my friends list that plays BO2 more than once or twice a week. But, I like how you jumped to the assumption that I'm buying an X1, even though I'm deliberately trying to avoid stating that. Even though I definitely am.

Good mentality. I just love JRPGs. I might get a PS4 if the next Tales Of... game doesn't release for X1. Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Symphonia are both amazing games, and I'd recommend them to anyone.
