HALO 5 is copying Destiny!
Wow, 343 is retarded, and unoriginal. The trailer shows Master Chief in a cloak/cape.
Why the hell would Chief, in a SPARTAN suit, need a cape? His suit can't protect him from the wind and sand? LOL
This is 343 just trying to be "epic", and they're failing miserably.
The worst part is, given how Destiny has a ton of capes as well, this is just gonna have people confuse the two series, and they're gonna say Destiny is a rip off of Halo.

I am by no means a Halo fan anymore ( long story ). But if the game takes place in a sandy region the the cape would fit. Sand is devious and gets every where but the cape would only protect the upper joints. If it's a cold a region then the cape would help protect the upper body from cold. See all that metal near the heart in the cold can be deadly. So the cape would be used to retain heat. But your probably right...it's just copy of their creators. Lazy!

The only reason I can think of Chief needing to wear a cloak would simply be to conceal his identity - This would make sense in a couple instances: it would conceal him from possible Forerunners, a well as the Sangheili, on whose planet it has been speculated the game will take place. Don't be too quick to jump to conclusions.
