Just down to all round bad-assery I'd say. However in Blacklist he looks too young if you ask me. i suspect that plus the different voice actor will make him feel like some generic character in Blacklist tbh. Hopefully not though. Hopefully not.

I think that, if they wanted to make Sam look younger, they also should have put Blacklist somewhere in the timeline between the earlier games, not be the latest game.
