I am going to buy the Xbox one yes, I am happy with everything? No. I, after being against it for so long, am slowly moving to PC gaming.
The reason I am picking up the Xbox one is for 2 reasons right now. 1.As shitty as Halo is now, I am curious about what happens, so I will give them some of my money. 2.Destiny, its on console and all my internet buds are getting the xbox one to be consistent, so I will stick around on it.
I am migrating to PC as it is offering me better, cheaper game with better devs.

I agree with your point on Halo; Halo 4 was both a hit and a miss for me. I adored Spartan Ops and the story, but multiplayer was disastrous until the recent update. I'm tempted to get a next-genner just for GTA V, but there's been no word at all regarding a next-gen release. Hell, we might not get one, in which case I'll have to get it on current-gen or PC. But there's no PC collector's edition, heheh. While PC games are cheaper and developer support and quality tends to be higher, I still miss the more casual console gaming every now and then.

GTA V isn't for next gen consoles.

Have Rockstar said that themselves?

Yes Dan Houser said it in an interview. I don't have the link but he said games at the end of gen are better than those at the beginning. Having worked on the 360 for over 9 years they have mastered the potential for a GTA game this gen just like San Andreas was on the original xbox.

Roger boogly, I'll keep my eyes peeled for the interview but it's sounding to me like I'm going to be getting it on PC if they ever announce it.
