The objective isn't to kill them, the objective is to wound them so bad it takes a soldier or two to carry out each of the wounded.

That particular logic applies to the small 5.56 round, not to an anti-material round. And if the turds who wrote that stupid thing even remotely knew what kind of damage a .50 cal round will do to a human target they wouldn't be bothered by it.
