Midnight release.
What will y'all do if/when Destiny has a midnight release?
Will you buy it at midnight, then go home and go to sleep?
Or go buy it and play till 5 in the morning?
Or just not buy it on midnight release?

5 RepliesOh I'll definitely be there. Just that it sucks because Destiny will undoubtedly come out on a Tuesday, and that's the one day in the week I absolutely cannot miss my 6 AM classes. So going to Midnight Releases is difficult since I always want to be in bed by like 10. Skyrim came out on a Friday and it's the only Triple A game in memory to not come out on a Tuesday. If Destiny did that... oh my goodness it would be the best Friday of all time.

1 ReplyDepends on what I have planned for the day after. If I have to work or go to classes, then I'll just buy it and go to sleep. If no work the next day, preferably the next 2 days, then I'll stop on the way home to grab some food and drinks and game for a few hours then sleep. Either way I'm gonna play the hello out of this game.

Go to midnight release and play for a couple hours then go to bed. I will probably take off from work unless it releases on Friday like Skyrim

4 RepliesWhen I was in college I loved going to midnight releases and then staying up half the night playing. Now that I've got a big girl job, I'm not sure if that's going to be possible. I do have one spare vacation day left this year, so I might just have to use it when Destiny is released. =)

Pick it up at midnight and then play it till I can't play it anymore.

1 ReplyPicking up a game at midnight is so stupid. Just pre-order it and collect it during the day where you will have a lot more time to play it.

I always just pre-order games and pick them up release day. I will do the same with Destiny(probably).

I have a system for this. Take as many days off work as possible. Sleep the day of the release, wake up around 9pm, stock up on snacks and energy drinks, then when you get home with the game around 1am, CRANK OUT THE HOURS until passing out.
