Yeah, exactly, that's why I made it a thread. Questions about objective facts are stupid because there exists this cool new website called Google that can answer your every query. Subjective material like this leads to good discussion, I find. So, I'm asking you personally. Unless you don't have an answer.

I would have to know a specific person, target if you will, to enact the worst thing I could do to them and still have them forgive me. So to me, the question is unanswerable. If you were to be cruel to your own child, they would forgive you with very little effort. If you were cruel to a friend or relative, it is highly likely that you would have to do far less them to be offended, and would take far more to acquire their forgiveness. The line and the amount of cruelty / forgiveness would be different for each person.
