Leave someone alone with no one else for several miles, and no possible distractions. When they've spent at least 12 hours alone with their own thoughts, they'll never trust anyone again

I don't know what your thoughts are like, but mine are perfectly agreeable company.

Not really, solitude will drive anyone insane
-
Your hours must be longer than our humble Earth hours.
-
Not really, you obviously have never been in this situation

I've spent lots of time alone with my thoughts! I like my thoughts! I get along quite well with my thoughts! You must have a really scary mind if you can't even be left alone with it for a single day.

You're not understanding the concept here. I mean un interupted thought, no distractions, nothing to work towards or do physically.
You must have a really scary mind if you can't even be left alone with it for a single day.
I can agree my mind differs from most, but my point still stands

There are always distractions. Even if you locked me in an empty room for twelve hours, I'm pretty sure I could distract myself with trying to escape. And if I couldn't, I still think I could handle the alone time for a while. Sure, I'd be rather shaken by the end of it, but I think that's a natural response to being kidnapped and forcibly confined.
