It was there first game please give them a chance. They were probably trying to realise what people like and don't like. Halo 5 will be better

With all the data from the past Halo games in hand it's pathetic they messed up so bad. I don't like call of Halo 4
-
Edited by BritLemon: 6/2/2013 3:26:30 PMThey actually managed to make Halo 4 feel and play like the previous games (minus Reach), but they scrapped it because they said it felt to much like the originals and then made the Halo 4 we have now. This is a huge reason as why people were pissed off about the game (me included).

Where did they say this?
"It's during that time you're questioning yourself: 'How is this going to work, will it be as I envision it in my head?" says Holmes. For Halo 4, he says there were a few epiphany moments that helped boost the morale of the team. One of the earlier ones that Holmes recalls was when the team completed a small piece of the Halo experience that he described as a "very traditional" Halo. User research showed that people thought it was a lot of fun, and it showed that the team was capable of making a Halo game that was true to what the series was about. 343 scrapped it, Holmes says, as it was too traditional. But that first build showed the new team that this amalgamation of different studio cultures could work together and achieve a common goal.
Wow I think I actually remember seeing that now that you showed me. SMH Halo 4 could have been good.
-
I bet'cha they will show Master Chief's face in Halo5. Just wait, if they're willing to show his eyes, then you can bet they will eventually show his face and that will be the last straw!!

Hahahahah lolokay

It's their first game, but at the same time it wasn't. They got handed over an already existing franchise with an already existing community. To make it even better for them they have some ex Bungie employees. They had a lot to go by and a lot of feed back to help them out, but they still screwed up. Also those pointless removes and changes they did were nothing put their own arrogant stupidity. They should have known removing things like campaign theater and the changes they did to CTF and Infection would have been hated.
-
The thing is they were also compromised of game dev. veterans of 15 plus years.

Edited by King PWNinater: 5/29/2013 9:32:37 PMWell yeah, sure the art people, programmers, or campaign designers, but what about the multiplayer designers? The multiplayer design team was pretty small, consisting of less than 12 people (Maybe 7.) . Plus, Liquid development made the Armor, Certain Affinity made the Forge and maps.
-
Also with all those other people working on it gave them even more time to work on and they still -blam!-ed up. Just sad.
-
Oh hey, you're that guy who said the US should just cut ties with China, even though we own them trillions. I'm mean this in the least offensive way possible. You aren't worth my time.
-
Halo 4 suxs dik and is worthless crap
-
tru dat
-
Ha says the guy who supports communism and the chinese government treating their people like peasants and thinks China is actually ever gonna get it's money. Same to you kid.
-
china is not communism in practice. Mao is no longer in power buddy

What does size matter in this case? Almost all the decisions they made were stupid and/or of amateur level. They failed pretty badly and they made it harder than it should have been just so they could make it "their halo".
-
Some of the changes they made were good, like the sticky detonator and they brought the BR back. But some were bad like the being an elite ability. I will NEVER forgive them for that.
-
They pretty much HAD to bring back the BR. It took place after 3, which included the BR. It's not like the UNSC would randomly get rid of them while he was aboard the Forward Unto Dawn. I still think that they did a pretty good job with the campaign though. I'm not really a fan of the multiplayer though.
