I love how people are jumping to conclusions about this stuff. Their is still a few things I'm iffy about, but Microsoft seems to have remedied a lot of the complaints.

I'm not going to lie this (if not another confusion) is awesome Theoretically can't I lend the physical disk to someone and then play it digitally from my house If this is true that's a plus one for the Xbox one
-
I have no idea. All I know is that this situation is not nearly as bad as some people make it out to be.

In theory yes, but I doubt that will work in the way you think it will. The disc acts as a temporary activation. The first time you use the disc, it locks the activation key to your account (or so I believe). That way, you can play it on your own Xbox, on your own account, even if you lose the disc. However, if you lend it to a friend, the disc will activate the game on their console, but not their account. That way, they can play it on their account so long as they have the disc. However, as the disc has activated another console, you need to reactivate the game on your own to play again, hence the requirement to access the internet every so often.

Indeed. Sure, even I still have a few issues with it (the Kinect is still something I really don't like the idea of - hell, my old PC webcam used to face away from me when not in use), and unless they perfect voice controls and visual recognition of the people giving the commands, I'm not going to like it. My room in the house we're renting up at university next year is right next to the lounge. All it takes is one of my housemates to lean in and say "Xbox off" to be the biggest trolls in the history of my gaming career.

Thats's awesome but wouldn't York friend want to get the physical thing instead of digital?
-
If they're only borrowing it, then they wouldn't need the digital copy, only the physical. If they then wanted to own it themselves, having played it on their console (it automatically installs as you play), they simply purchase it online to gain instant access to the already-installed game.

Your not York

Neither am I. Only York is York.
