Agreed with every point.. The Sandbox bit would be awesome. It would be kind of like Day Z but more atmospheric.

Yeah I would really hope they take that route. Just imagine moving across the surface during a CTF match and you have the flag. Then a flipping Demon swoops down and grabs you!

And your teammates rush to save you, but realize they have like 10 seconds of air left. They can choose to either risk it themselves or give their filters to one guy and let him have all the extra air to save the flag.

It would be interesting to see that, but from an enemy player's perspective. Do you use the opportunity of the other player staying still to escape, do you purposely make a noise to attract it's attention to the enemy, or do you just sit still yourself and stare the other player right in the face, unable to shoot?

All down to the moment! If you decide to shoot, of course you will get its attention... SO as it sits there, it creates this "no mans land" right on top of it until it vanishes.

I think I'd rather sit and wait it out rather than risk it. Alternatively, a 10 kill streak unlocks Khan as an AI companion that prays and makes the anomaly go away :p

Just look them in the eye and slowly make your way back. Dont turn your back to them, and do NOT run.
