He may have been one of humanities greatest accomplishments, a piece of military hardware, I have the feeling it is connected to the golden age and not just another relic of it. Again, historically Chrlemagne is known as the father of Europe, he was a unifying influence, so speculating on that makes me wonder if he had anything to do with the alliance between the Exo, awoken, and man. Who or what was/is his Joteuse? The traveller fits the bill, but I'm just not prepared to commit to that. The traveller is a foreign body that came to help us for reasons unknown, it's vastly more powerful than we were and I don't know why such an entity would serve something like Charlemagne (we don't know who his his creator is). It has its own agenda. Does that mean its not controlled by something called Joyeuse? No. I can't help but feel that Joyeuse is something else.
Thoth is still on my brain to. If he exists within the game, what role does he play? What mysteries exist in the world that are on his scale? The traveller, a mysterious force that beat us down in our prime, and apparently there is some huge thing out there capable of destroying planets. There are plenty of mysteries in the game but Thoth is immortal, can travel through time and space, escape the inevitable collapse of the universe, can move planets, warp planets through time and space, he's here to protect the balance... He us basically a god. The traveller can move planets.... It also protected us from the mystery force that beat us down.... Both traits are very Thothy.
Also... Who here played the ARG?
