Do you and your brother share socks?
Do you and your brother share proprietary computer software?
In a way I can't say I blame them and this has been on the horizon for some time. Yes it sucks to the consumer, but business is business. Game Stop is going to have to come up with a new strategy. Looks like they are simply eradicating the second hand game market.

youre such a fool Business is business? Whatever happened to "customers are always right" or customer satisfaction comes first. It shouldnt suck to be a consumer, it should be a win win situation. A company offers a reasonable service for a reasonable fee. Looks like microsoft is simply shitting on anyone that shares anything at all. If what op is saying is true, why the hell would you buy into such a scam service. Ill admit im the only one using my xbox so none of these issues really affect me, but ill be damned if i give my money to microsoft for -blam!-ing people in the ass
-
People are getting -blam!-ed in the ass because they can't play games they didn't pay for. I'm having trouble understanding this logic.
-
Can't please everyone but I'm satisfied.
-
But you only have one Xbox in the house, correct?
-
That's all that's needed.
-
In your household, yes. How many people live in your home, three? How many of those three game regularly? Just you? Fine, in a situation like that, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this new DRM method. It suits you just fine. But for me, when at home my brother and I have our own Xboxs in our own rooms, and play regularly, it doesn't work. Same with my new housemates in August. If three of the five of us have Xbox Ones come release, any games I buy that the others aren't completely sold on would have to be played on my profile, so I couldn't play while they did. It's flawed. Households with multiple consoles will suffer from this, unless they fork out for two or more copies of the same game.

Blockbuster are going to lose half of their business as a result of this, or close to half at least. I rented Bioshock Infinite. I won't be able to do that with the new Xbox. According to Microsoft, I'll have to buy it flat out, then sell it online to someone else for a reduced/the same price. "Let's totally remove the simplicity of renting games," must have come up at least once in their meetings.
-
Blockbuster? They still exist? All ours closed a little over a year ago.

They're still quite popular in the regions I live in. The one in my home town closed down but up here in Hull there are three rather large stores which seem to be doing rather well, probably because of the number of students there are here.
