Yes I know, its the whole "beginning" part that messes me up. I do admire and agree with certain parts of evolution. But in the end, I always view it as an advanced form of adaptation among species.

You are completely misunderstanding something. Why would you ever ask an evolutionist about the start of the universe when they study evolution and not the big bang? ask a person who specializes in the big bang and understanding it.
