What's The Plot Hole in Batman Begins? Is it the whole blowing up the fortress thing?

Edited by kgj: 5/18/2013 10:23:45 PMNo, no. Far worse than that. It's probably the most massive, gaping plot hole in movie history.

Edited by GKR: 5/18/2013 10:26:11 PMIt'd be nice if you actually told us.

Which is? I'm hard pressed to find something that was wrong with BB other than the fortress.
The league of shadows had the perfect plan to destroy Gotham. By sneaking-in a toxin in the water supplies for weeks before revealing their machine and its purpose, their tactical supremacy was everything but challenged. That is.... unless a single person out of the millions of Gothamers used boiled water in the past few months. But what are the odds of any of them taking daily showers and cooking food ? Exactly. None. And that is off course hiding the other tiny problem of human bodies being composed at 60% of water.
http://movieplotholes.com/batman-begins.html

The movie says the toxin only works once the water is vaporized and inhaled, so the "humans are 60% water" point is irrelevant. As for the rest... WOW, that's one big plot hole!

It's pretty f*cking massive.

Sweet Jesus....

I think it's got something to do with the microwave weapon and the water supply.

Yep. It's ridiculous. Probably the only plot hole that genuinely detracts from my enjoyment of the entire movie.
