Hopefully it somehow reveals something about Clara. It pisses me off how the Doctor always avoids the damn question of Clara. Anyways, I hope it's not some extraterrestrial made up language name. I like not knowing the Doctor's name, but Matt Smith probably will not be in next season, right?

It would be a remarkably short tenure for him if they did get rid of him, and I'm sure some rumour of it would have leaked somehow...

I agree about the Clara thing. With the Silence they subtly addressed it like every episode. Like at the end of Vampires in Venice. Here it's just kinda a background thing that they're teasing us with. You can't have a story arch that you only address twice especially when it's the main one.

Sure you can. Moffat was WAY to forward with the story arcs of the last Matt Smith series. With Tennant's series there was hardly anything.

It's about precedent though. People are now going to constantly expect a little bit here and there about the over-arching story now that you've done that once, and they're going to feel let down when you don't do that. There's nothin wrong with de-Scooby-Doo-ifying it in that he's connecting all the episodes in some way rather than having it be "Dr. Who goes here and he does this."
