(although Activision has now confirmed Destiny won’t release until 2014)
Really? Sad face if true.
Staten describes how a typical mission plays out with these guys: hopping into a space craft with his buddy, he heads to the ruins in daytime, knowing the Cabal will be out in smaller numbers than his last nighttime excursion.
- Night vs Day differences, awesome. - The way he describes heading to the ruins sounds like an open world experience to me. Awesome again. - Hopping into a space craft with a buddy and venturing out........ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vwBbrngafl0

 • It's not absolutely confirmed; Activision stated that Destiny is not "expected" to release in 2013. . Although it will probably come out in 2014, there has been no official release date.

 • They flat out said "not to expect" Destiny in 2013. Its not coming out this year dude. A grand daddy massive company like activision doesnt just make meaningless official statements like that. The word probably was never mentioned.

 • Ya I get it, and I don't expect Destiny to be released in 2013. I'm simply pointing out the difference between saying "Destiny will NOT be released in 2013" and "don't expect a 2013 release".

 • They're essentially saying the same thing. There'd be a big difference had I been making a personal statement. I probably wont come to your home. Don't expect me. I wont be coming to your house. Clearly different when pertaining to personal matters and personal promises. When a company says something of the sort, its often a blunt way of saying 'no.'
