Well, I don't think I'd really care that much. Well, from reading the scenario anyway, in reality I'd probably be bricking it.
Might as well die, as it seems the heroic and pretty damn straightforward thing to do in this scenario. Might as well chuck myself into Oblivion.

LOL They take your house seige with machine guns and machetes and you have to choose between your self or your loved ones dying cos they're sick people so you throw yourself at their mercy and they chop your head off That is awfully kind of you to sacrifice yourself so that your family member's heads don't explode
