Most of the time, EA publishes the games and doesn't make them. I wouldn't be too worried about originality.

  • I really don't get the blind hate against EA. I personally think they're a great company. Most of my games are either made or published by them and I have zero problems with them. I personally think the hate is nothing but the typical, "OH it's a big company, I must hate them now" crap.

  • I like them, but they are usually unoriginal, in my honest opinion.

  • It's because of the pay to play online shit they pull. They're just moneyhungry jerks who care nothing for the games they publish or the gamers that pay for them.

Get used to it you self entitled baby because pretty much every developer will be doing it on the next console. Expect an explosion of online fees with next gen. Bungie is going to do it as well as Ubi Soft, COD, Capcom and pretty much everyone else. FYI: Shocking I know, but it is the main goal of any company to make as much money as possible however they can.

  • I understand that companies try to make money. I try to make money, and so does everybody else; I never said otherwise. The problem with EA is that they care nothing about anything other than money. The only thing EA does is try to come up with ways to make more money, rather than come up with mediums to meet the gamers halfway. Their service sucks, they shit is too expensive, they never deliver all the way, and the gaming industry is getting sick of it. I'm not self entitled. I play video-games casually as a way to blow off steam, maybe once or twice a week at most. So I don't enjoy spending shit-tons of money on video games.

  • If you don't enjoy spending a lot of money on games, then simply don't. You're not obligated nor are you forced to spend money on them. You make the decision yourself. Second, Ea does a lot for their customers. Look at BF. Look at all the DLC they encouraged DICE to produce and and price point they have for it was incredible. The amount fo content on that game alone for what you paid for was great. I hope more companies will follow suit on that plan DICE/EA did with Premium.

  • What about their support for SimCity? That was horrifyingly bad and lazy.

  • What about it? They were trying something new with the always online thing and there were some mishaps in the beginning. the issue has been resolved now. Why do you need to hold a grudge and further something that is over and done with?

Because I payed money for a product I couldn't use because of their need to make more money than the shit-tons they were already making. Good businessmen should have a product, find someone with the money and desire for that product, and he should sell that product to that person. EA is forcing that person to continue to pay for the product they already payed for, for a function already promised initially. That is my problem with EA.

You're right, you paid for a product, but you were not entitled to jack shit. When you try a new food product that you bought from the grocery store, do you sit there an complain about it for hours, maybe years on end? No you don't, you get over it. You either wait until the maker improves their product or you simply don't purchase from them again. Games are not an investment as they are only a consumer product. That's it. You make good purchases and you make bad purchases. Welcome to the free market kid.

  • When I pay for a -blam!-ing product, I am entitled to the mother-blam!-ing product I paid for. Not just a part of it. Of course I wouldn't complain about the food for hours, but when the conversation comes up I will mention the fact that I did not enjoy their food and will not purchase from them again. I was trying to help you understand why people dislike EA.

You are not entitled. The colorful pictures called advertisements that are put on the box, their websites etc. are there to do just that, make you buy their product. You bought into it, that's your decision. You are dissatisfied with the product, then you simply return it (if possible), or stop purchasing their products like every other consumer product.

  • If I buy a painting, I expect to receive the painting. If the seller informs me that I must pay an extra fee to have receive the entire painting, I have been cheated out of what I have paid for.

  • self entitled baby? Yes we know companies are out to make a profit. But there is a line where it is unfair to the consumer and EA is very close to that line.

  • And that is why I love nintendo, no dlc bullshit, the "always online" if you can call it that on the wii U isn't stupid like the other ways AO was used *cough Sim City cough* no real microtransactions on the consoles they make. it's glorious.

  • Yes, they are. the 3ds practically prints money, and the Wii was a bigger success than both the ps3 and the 360, so they'd still be able to continue on even if the wii U tanks like all the xbots and ps3tards want so bad, nintendo is doing fine bro.
