Hulk is kinda like Buu, but with brute strength instead of any powers. And I don't think he could pull himself together after being vaporised like Buu could.

He's a -blam!-ton more durable than Boo. Blasting him into vapor would take a hell of a lot more energy, and he could likely heal anyway if he reaches Worldbreaker levels of power.

I think you're tremenduously underestimating Buu's durability.

I'm really not. He's been blasted into vapor by attacks Hulk would shrug off like nothing. They're both on the lower end of mid-tier though.

Hulk's taken hits from Thor, the Silver Surfer, and the Sentry. Any of those three would walk right over Boo like nothing.

Probably not. At his angriest he could very likely survive a planet-busting attack.
