From my own experience (I'm not a graphics engineer, but I think these pointers are universally applicable), I can tell you that the things that I made in my free time were hugely instrumental in getting hired. School projects can be great too, if you grit your teeth and go above and beyond the requirements. If you're always looking to make something that you don't QUITE know how to make, you're sure to better yourself. Good luck!

ooooohhh yes! I remember this one! Like most of the Breaking In articles, it was very good. Thanks for taking the time! :) Now get back to work! ;) Or more Bungie forum...that works too.
