I have a really good flight simulator setup with me right now for x-Plane 10. I also have my helicopters PPL with 78 hours pilot in command.

I just updated my sound card as well, which really improved the quality. I just wish I had somewhere to put the two other speakers to take advantage of surround sound. The cords aren't nearly long enough.

Asus Xonar DS. Not the most high-end thing out there, but I've been extremely happy with it so far.
