Information that could lead to anyone [i]printing [/i] a weapon should not be publicly accessed that easy.

this isn't your standard printer. it takes a specific, expensive type of printer that a criminal will not be likely to have. 3d printing is cheaper and lower quality than CNC, sure, but still beyond the common public means at this point.

I'm almost positive that you can buy one with about $1000, which a criminal could easily have. Yep, here one is: http://portabee3dprinter.com/shop/portabee-3d-printer-complete-kit-uassembled/ Not sure if this one specifically would be able to print the parts for guns, but it goes to show how cheap they're getting.

Currently it requires a machine costing around $8500. The less expensive ones cannot produce the weapon. - Der

Criminals can buy guys that are a lot more deadly than these a lot easier than they can print them so I don't see the point in not making it available

Not anywhere near as bad. Censorship only leads to more censorship, and I don't know why it's acceptable to anyone.
