Oh, some people would probably be mad, but I think most of the people who are really anticipating the next Half-Life instalment would be planning to get it for PC anyway.

Well, it'd naturally lead to more sales for MS, but it wouldn't exactly be a killer app.

Well, for console peasants such as myself, I would say that it would be. Whether my laptop could handle HL3, whether I'd be too twitchy with PC shooters as I always am to enjoy it, that's why.
