Where to begin (book plot to movie plot):
First off, this trailer gave away many of the interesting plot twists of the book (Ender being the last Cadet, Mazer Rackham was thought to be dead but he is alive because he traveled in a space ship around light speed around Saturn)
Secondly, Ender himself did not know he was ever killing any of the buggers, Mazer told him it was "all a simulation".
Finally, most of Ender's game takes place in Ender's mind and is his own thoughts and feelings. He did not like killing and regretted killing the buggers home world.
They won't, but the Book had so many good plot-twists and character development I don't think a movie could pull off. Ender's game is a psychological and very compelling story.
-
True, but I can easily look past that for the movie. The visuals look great, I love the bugger's ships.

If you pay attention you will notice how they swarm and act as one, because the Bugger's themselves are controlled by a hivemind and a queen. (like ants but they have no free will). it is because of this they "can't" communicate with humans.
Also at the end Ender feels really sad for committing Genoicde and the Queen tells him where to find the last egg of the buggers to help re-start their civilization. The buggers were never evil, they couldn't talk to humans.
