It's not happening, Steam is already on PS3 (kind of) and Gaben hates Windows 8 for no real reason.

Gaben said before it came out that non Microsoft software wouldn't work with Windows 8, and that it was a Catastrophe, but it's really because he wants people to start using Linux based OSs, since all Steamboxes will work with Ubuntu.
