I'm perfectly content with the tax being implemented.
As stated, brick-and-mortar retailers can not compete with online sales. In a lot of locales, not having to pay sales tax puts physical retailers at a terrible pricing advantage.
I swear, some nerds on this forum complain when their local Gamestop goes out of business, but then complain when a law that would help level the playing field and allow that said Gamestop to remain open is suggested.

yeah, competition is good for the consumers. if someone want's to scalp, it should be fine for a competitor with the same product to sell cheaper online.

Or we could end the taxes on those brick buildings.

Gamestop and all other B&M shops are still -blam!-ed, anyway, since a national online retailer like Amazon can enjoy the same or better economies of scale on their costs, while avoiding the overhead that having B&M storefronts require.
