I actually don't do that anymore. Ok...maybe a little bit, but nothing explicit like I used to. As for why I am telling people this, it really bugs me when people complain about something when there is a VERY simple and obvious solution.

Personally, I feel that the issue is not with people not using the mute feature, but rather the way in which the mute feature works. Let's face it, some people are more easily tempted then others. Even when you mute, you have the hidden posts part in the forums and the "Some replies have been hidden" part in the threads. That's why I added L00's True Mute section to my theme and improved upon it by removing the "Some replies have been hidden" to essentially hide all traces of a person when muting. This is Viltre by the way, I just use this account now when I get stuck using someone else computer.
