The divorce rate is around 50% so the religious sanctity argument is out the window.

  • Honestly, when I hear, "till death do us part", I'm not surprised in America at least, that people divorce at high rates. The people who divorce are too scared to actually do the "till death do us part", so they settle with the "lesser" and cowardly way and take half of each other's stuff.

  • 100% of marriages are religious. Right. I guess I missed the memo.

  • Are you trying to say religious marriages don't divorces? False statements can't count as justifications.

  • I never said that nor was I trying to imply that. I'm just saying that the majority of marriages today aren't done under the name of God, so it's a fallacy to assume that all straight marriages today are religious because they're not.
