I kinda agree with him but still, this was about safety. Not about the government over stepping their bounds.

exactly. it's how they pass all the anti-constitutional laws for spying on people. "you're paranoid" nope. the listeners have been known to listen /record and laugh at people's personal lives and share like it was a funny office memo. google it.
