Okay guys. We need to make some more solid rules for the forums.
I for some reason have been getting banned mainly because I believe there is no rules. And we really don't have any rules. So why ban people? I've posted in threads that states to post something offensive. We post offensive things, and everyone gets freaking banned for offensive content.
Who the hell was reporting us? Its like walking into a minefield, that is clearly marked "Minefield" and feeling sad that your legs blew the hell off. In a forum that is supposedly moderated by the users, I see no need to ban people from the community. So if you want to continue banning, pin a topic stating the rules on the forum like you guys used to do.

They are idiots with the new system claiming you're your own moderator but then still banning us even when having good discussion. That's why I easily avoid the bans. Message me if you don't know how.

1 ReplyWait, you can get banned? Last I checked there was only the ToS agreement. As long as you didn't impersonate other Bungie Emps, you couldn't get banned. Or has that changed?

I think with the update came a more "think before you post" kind of attitude. If you post something offensive, people will get offended (of course) so you may be banned because people report you. While the site seems to be more lax, getting banned really depends on how or if you offend another member.

1 ReplyJust make another account to override your ban. Works for me I just got a 5 day. Plus there's no auto ban feature like old bungie.

Those two pages, combined with how members interpret them and then use their own hide/mute/report tools are how the "rules" here are enforced.
