Halo 2 was the buggiest mess ever to disgrace the Xbox.
Halo 3 was much better in this sense.

See though Halo 2 didn't have a 100 million dollar budget and 200+ veterans in the field working on it.

No, it just had a studio far bigger than the one behind Halo in 2001 and a dedicated team to multiplayer.
