Yes, you can give your children too much confidence. But they will one day find out that the sun doesn't shine out of their ass.
Either teach then the easy way, or let them learn the hard way.

Those types of people tend to believe everything that goes wrong in their lives, is someone else's fault. They'll never truly look back and reflect upon themselves to be the problem, because they were never raised to be viewed as one.

Hmm. I think the only way that someone like that could learn a lesson is if they got into a tough spot that no one else could bail them out of. Parents helping their children out is great, and how it should be, but never letting them experience anything negative or bailing them out of every shitty situation they get in is pretty damaging. I've seen it happen once, so maybe there is a glimmer of hope for the rest of them. Although, I'm probably just being overly optimistic.
