I agree that global warming doesn't exist.
-
97% of scientists agree climate change is man-made, while 100% (rounded) believe it is happening.
-
Absolutely false. There's a petition with over 33,000 scientists against humans being a cause.

Saying that 33,000 "scientists" question the idea, and that 97% agree that it is happening, are not two mutually exclusive events. And even then, while not saying humans may not be the cause, most will still agree that it's a problem needing to be fixed.
-
Where are you getting 97% agree with it? That is beyond false. Also, to assume it is a problem or that we could fix it is also unproven and ridiculous to believe.

That is simply idiotic to believe. And even IF it were true that doesn't prove global warming is even happening, or that man is influencing it, or that it is a problem we could do anything about. We have trouble predicting weather three days ahead, but you believe we know a dang thing about climate change? The sun is the driving force, and we could be entering another ice age.
-
So you are more intelligent than 97% of scientists?
-
Which ones? There are still over 33,000 that disagree. You're smarter than them? I also like how you're arguing for something that has never been proven, is a natural occurrence that has and will always happen, and even going by IPCC predictions isn't a big deal. They estimate an inch of sea level rise over 40 years.

Further, 33,000 means absolutely nothing if there are over 30x as many scientists who say the opposite. And why is global warming bad? Because the Earth is delicate. Even if the oceans only rise one inch, it causes a huge impact. I can't teach you geology or ecology (I don't care enough to teach you, and you're clearly incapable of understanding). The rise of the oceans aren't the only problems that follow global warming; there's mass extinction, causing there to be famine and the total destruction of habitats. China is the world's biggest polluter. This is what's happening to them. They actually hand bottles of air because the air is so bad, sending tens of thousands to hospitals for breathing problems. Do you want that to spread here? In your town? I'd bet not. Please educate yourself about the world. Ignoring a problem does NOT make it go away.
-
Edited by Camnator: 4/28/2013 1:31:27 AMThat is false. The 33,000 scientists are of all types, and to think you can discredit all of them with false beliefs is just silly. The one who doesn't understand is you and the majority of people that bye into the hype. This is obviously a hoax and scam to push carbon credits and raise taxes. There is no proof humans have ANY impact on climate change, to think we can do something about it is laughable and unfounded. It's a NATURAL occurrence and is always going to happen. What does pollution have to do with global warming? Of course I'm for cleaner air just because air is important, but to correlate that with climate change is simply naive. Obviously we need to shoot for nuclear fusion, and it's right around the corner. Please educate yourself, inventing a problem and associating false blame is not how science works. Also, popularity doesn't make something true. And one more thing, do you think these scientists paid for by the government are really going to argue against their agenda? Nope, they want to keep their contracts and checks. How do you think it would go over if most scientists just admitted, "It's natural and not a significant problem it's always happened and will always happen." Think they'd have a job very long?
This is obviously a hoax and scam to push carbon credits and raise taxes.
I stopped reading there. No. I have no time to do this. Why the hell do I spend my time arguing with idiots? A true idiot. Not the kind of idiot you call someone out of anger. You are the pinnacle devolution of man. And it's okay; you are not in any position to make any change. You have proven yourself mentally incapable. This isn't even a debate. You should feel honored I am even trying to help explain this to you. What benefit is there to me to teach you? None, so I'm going to stop. You are in no position to make any change, and you stand alone surrounded only by the forgotten rest. You will be an example for all who don't think. You see this, Flood? This is what happens when you're too lazy to use your brain.
-
I can just as easily call you an idiot, but you might not be, you might simply be misinformed, disinformed or not properly educated in the subject. You may just be blind to the truth and bought into propaganda so passionately that you're incapable of seeing the truth. You are only humiliating yourself now, especially considering you made no rebuttal or attempt to refute my claims. Be honest, you stopped reading because you knew you were wrong. I recommend you stick to your word and stop before you further embarrass yourself.
-
33,000 out of how many?
-
No idea. It really says something though.
-
Not really. What if the number is 33,000 of 3,300,000? Statistics are useless out of context.
-
yeah i don't trust them they always come up with stupid shit

Edited by Dustin: 4/27/2013 3:29:55 AMLike computers and cars and electricity, I know, those scientists man... they're terrible.
