A world without morality is less organised, less developed, and generally conduces to an unproductive and psychologically damaging environment. Whatever use moral codes have been corrupted to in the past and present, their essential efficaciousness remains.

True in a sense yes. But what if morality never existed? Imagine what then you would think. What if the world progressed in a better way? Or worse? We cannot know for we do not know a world without morality. Therefore we can help to imagine a world without morality would be bad.
