In Tokyo last week I saw, in a high-end shopping mall, a middle-aged overweight Japanese man happily dressed as a Japanese schoolgirl, with pigtails, red ribbons, pulled up socks and a school briefcase.
Noone else gave a shit. Just another day in Japan.

Well imagine that, noone gave a shit. Because Japan is far ahead of every other country in the area of letting people do whatever the hell they want and not criticizing them for it.

I feel ripped off. I've been to Japan 5 times and I've never seen anything particularly strange.

You're sort of right yeah. On one hand noone paid any attention to the cross-dressing man....... but I wasn't sure if it was because they didn't mind or were too reserved and polite to stare or say anything. Japan is a strange place. Maybe this sort of thing is fine by them..... after all some Japanese men want to marry their anime girlfriends..... but it is also the sort of place where pointing at people is rude, talking loudly is rude, and when someone does something wrong to you it's your fault.

Because it's Japan. Kinky central... >.>
