:O It is! :D Most people are terrified of spiders for some damn reason, but since I'm informed as to which American spiders are poisonous and what they look like, I'm not afraid of them at all. :)

tarantulas cant kill you, and alot of them are friendly

Yeah, and most people don't know that. I like finding random spiders, keeping them as temporary pets and introducing them to people, especially people who are afraid of them.
