Hm, Richard "Dick" Nixon. Let's not forget Watergate, the continuation and eventual loss of Vietnam, and how he managed to lose the presidential election to a Democrat. But hey, aren't all conservative republicans untrustful, have beady eyes, pale and look like an anti-christ? Since Richard Nixon was all of those, and definitely looked like an anti-christ, then all conservative republicans must be that. So, ergo: Since Richard Nixon was a shitty president with shitty ideals, then that means all conservatives will be shitty presidents with shitty ideals. Fact. Glad we have a moderate president. Reagan and FDR would be proud. Got to love the generalizations, huh?

This is noteworthy. The liberal policies in Detroit (unions and welfare more specifically) destroyed that city, and I'm glad we can use that as an example.

Wrong. The older population is the one that are your professors, engineers, scientists, doctors, etc. Education back then (at least secondary) is as difficult if not more difficult than education now, and the public school system has been degrading a lot over the past decades. Judging from your argument alone, you sure aren't taken advantage of this supposed "better education" you have.
