You know how the flood infection forms explode when they hit MC's/an elite's shield? Well Superman has his bio-electric aura which is mainly why he can take so much damage and still walk, kinda acting like a shield. The same thing would happen to the infection forms when they go for Superman.

Edited by Enlightened One: 4/21/2013 4:12:12 PMThe Flood force its way into his mouth and down his throat.. Problem solved. OR they crawl up his butt.. either way.. they will get in if he is surrounded.
-
Will get him if he's surrounded? How the hell are infection forms, which die by the slightest damage, supposed to surround the man of steel? He could just: -Fly through them -Freeze them -Burn them all -destroy then with lazers -Punch the ground really hard to cause a super earthquake to destroy them all There's no way Superman will be surrounded.
-
You severely underestimate the Flood my friend.. Power in numbers.. And I think you should watch Halo Legends.. A better representation of how they really are.
-
Edited by Lord Keksworth: 4/21/2013 5:20:26 PMA single Spartan can plow through a few hundred of them. Superman could solo the forerunner-era flood if he had to.
-
Power in numbers? You what an accurate representation of flood infection forms vs Superman is? Hundreds of gummy bears vs a fully loaded tanks with a full crew operating it.
-
Metaphorically speaking.. Enough gummy bears could easily gunk up a tank's treads causing it to be immobilized
-
Even if the tanks blows them all to hell? Because that's what'd happen. Actually know, tanks can't fly. A bunch of gummy bears vs a fully loaded Boeing AH-64 Apache with the destructive capabilities increased a hundred-fold and can fly infinitely is a more accurate representation.

If I remember correctly.. The flood can also containment air space too. They have spores that float high above in the air.. It's another reason they can spread so quickly. Superman's best chance to not be infected is to not visit the planet. Go to Halo, activate the ring, killing himself and starving the Flood.. In the end.. he still dies.. Lol
-
Now, the flood are weak to fire. Superman has set fire to entire planets with his heat vision. Bye bye flood.
-
Odds are they probably couldn't. He's immune to almost all diseases and even if the flood supercell does get into his body the solar radiation would kill it anyway.
