No offense but Americans are bad ass. Us British are the proud ones (some). Not to mention some are bigoted and racist. (They are the scum of Britain who have nothing to do but be racist. They make us look bad). They blame everything on non white people when in reality they just sit at home doing nothing but taking drugs. Lol! I hate my country in some ways. We need to be more free and multicultural like the US.

The US is worse than the UK when it comes to racism and what not. Look at all the protests about g ay marriage and we had very few incidents over it except the church saying it shouldn't happen. We didn't have protests against it only for it.

Maybe you are right. But California is certainly not a racist state at all. It's a multicultural state. I agree with you. WHY MERICA NO ACCEPT GAYZ! (even though it is well...not natural) WHY U NO UNDERSTAND MERICA DAT GUNZ KILL!

Both are example of intolerance, both are more rampant in the US than the UK.

Technically religion and government are supposed to be separated by a 10 mile long pole, why it isn't I'll have no idea.

We had the church say No they don't want it but the government over ruled them. America was much different because of how religious the population is, the UK is largely atheist now while America is largely christian. So the debates are going to play out differently. Thankfully the US voted for same sex marriage.

Edit: slightly wrong around 24% athiest 59% Christian and 7% Not stated the other 10% is various other religions, so in fact the UK is largely christian.

Most of the Christians are Church of England, which isn't that vocal in it's opposition to gay marriage and doesn't try to control it's followers personal moralities to the same extent as most Christian denominations.

Ah ok but the country is going towards atheism pretty quickly, heck most of Europe is swapping religion for Science.
