I got 4 individual passes for the week. I'm a Pax East veterian, but will be totally new to Prime and traveling alone. Would love to meet people there.

Buying passes from PAX is easily the most frustrating process. All the passes end up in the hands of scalpers and hoarders. They need some priority system. I've gone to PAX since 2008, and each year, it's becoming a strain to buy a pass. My opinion, get rid of the single day passes. Sell 1 pass per person. Start a loyalty system for half the allotment of the passes.

I was able to jump in the queue as soon as the twitter alert went out and got my passes after [i]only[/i] an hour worth of waiting. Yeah, this was just nasty all around. Snagging a hotel room was an ordeal as well.

1 ReplyDidn't get any passes. The one day I don't check for some kind of announcement they go on sale. They really needed to announce when they were going on sale ahead of time as well as limiting the number of tickets you can buy. There's people selling a bunch of tickets on Ebay for like $400.

I can only imagine how large that expo is if their tickets are selling out this fast. I guess it's time to start ordering tickets one year in advance, the people who can go to PAX, I mean.

Got my passes for all 4 days. I waited just shy of 2.5 hours in the queue. What a terrible process.

Well. I've been in the queue for almost an hour and a half. Since being in the queue, all the four day passes have sold out, as well as the Saturday passes. Depending on what is left, I'd be willing to purchase any extra badges anybody has snagged.
