He can't play him forever. RD Jr will age, while his character will not.

They've got computer software to deal with that shit.
-
Why have him at all then? just go CGI and get a voice actor.
-
Because no CGIs or voice actors can replicate what RDJ has achieved as Tony Stark. I say let Robert do as much as he can with the character, and then cease making new films when he retires/passes away.

lolwut? Are you high? The guy has already been in like 4 freaking movies where he plays the exact same role over and over again. Unless he's a complete whore for the money, I'm sure he doesn't want his entire acting career to be defined by one single role.
-
It's already been defined by this single role.
-
Maybe to the hoards of Marvel fanboys who've polluted our movie theaters with all these comicbook movies for the last decade, but not to other people.
-
I love the Iron Man films, but i feel sorry for you if you think that's the greatest RDJ movie.
-
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it is.
-
Someone hasn't seen Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Chaplin, Sherlock Holmes, The Soloist, Tropic Thunder, and Ally Mcbeal?! You must be under the age of 14 if you think Iron Man is his only good role.
-
Again, it is.
-
Okay troll. Move along. RDJ got better acclaim for Chaplin then he did Iron Man.
RD Jr will age
That's a lie, Robert Downey Jr. doesn't age.

Well, from what I heard for the next Xmen they're bringing back all the old cast from Last Stand, which I believe is quite up there now.
-
They are doing the Days of Future Past. It makes sense they should show some age. In the story, they have aged.
-
I would suppose, still going to be a bit odd but I'm sure they won't look too bad with makeup and whatnot.
