The skyline is pretty spectacular and bright, though I've found it particularly weird that at night you can't see the stars. It's very bright here at night. We went around the districts Shibuya, Ginza and Harajuku and they glow just like in daytime.

Street level moves between confusing and disappointing ...(well, disappointing if ranking skylight ... but mind blowing if you just stop and watch life move by). There is something very cartoonish about it all ... you almost expect Godzilla to make an appearance any minute. Another "wierd" thing ... is the amount of silence you become aware of when you leave for a while, no place with more variety (and volume) of street noise.
