On average, 155,000 people die in a day. The human race would be overcome with despair if they attempted to comprehend each and every death every day. Either that, or really jaded.

  • And those combined with those that died in the bombing account for less than 0.04% of the people that died today, the majority of which died somewhere other than the US. There are plenty of deaths we never hear about, and plenty of deaths the rest of the world never hears about. Such is the state of the species.
