I don't know so much about the extra xp being available from the get-go. Honestly, I'd prefer if it didn't exist at all because that kind of thing makes level grinding much faster. Also, Boltshot with a dual-wield would be extremely overpowered. If you could find two on the map, the shotgun would then be obsolete.

Considering that there's so little to unlock, I didn't think it would be a problem. But that's a fair point. I forgot to elaborate about the Boltshot :(. Its secondary fire functions exactly like Halo 3's Mauler.

The exp thing though, I'm still not sure. There should still be in-game unlockables that don't have anything to do with your loadout. Things like Armor variants and please don't say that these things don't matter because they don't change gameplay because things like that are the measure of your character and the springboard to reach these pieces should be level for all players. edit: maybe could we get a vehicle list too? I know that doesn't really depend on the multiplayer but it would still be nice to see your opinion on what vehicles should be in the game and which should be left out.

I love Armor variants, and they would actually make up the vast majority of unlocks. I was just focusing on stuff that immediately affected gameplay. I get your point about the EXP thing, though. Armor is a mark of pride.
